About Rainbro
This is the story of a young fish called, Rainbro, who joins the local karate club. The books follow Rainbro's journey from white to black belt.
Each story has hints and tips students can use on their own karate journeys.
Every book has an activity section containing colouring pictures of the main characters.
The colouring pictures have been provided as downloadable PDF booklets. So you can colour in your favourite characters again and again.
There are pictures from each book you can download and use as your desktop wallpaper.
The series is available as Braille Ready Format (BRF) files for blind or low vision readers.
Book 1: Rainbro Joins a Dojo
The first book in the Rainbro series, "Rainbro Joins a Dojo", is the story of a young fish who tries Karate for the first time. This book is available on Amazon in paperback and as a Kindle eBook.
Book 2: Rainbro's First Grading
The second book, "Rainbro's First Grading", continues the adventures as Rainbro grades to yellow belt. This book is also available on Amazon in paperback and as a Kindle eBook.
Book 3: Rainbro Competes in Tournament
Book three, "Rainbro Competes in Tournament", is the story of Rainbro's first tournament. This book is available on Amazon in paperback and as a Kindle eBook.
Book 4: Rainbro Learns Self-defence
Book four, "Rainbro Learns Self-defence", Rainbro finds out when and how karate can be used outside the dojo. This book is available on Amazon in paperback and as a Kindle eBook.
Book 5: Rainbro and the Art of Kobudo
Book five, "Rainbro and the Art of Kobudo", Rainbro learns how to use weapons such as the Bo, Sai, Tonfa and nunchaku. Book five will be published end of March 2024.
Book 6: Rainbro's Black Belt
Book six, "Rainbro's Black Belt", after years of training Rainbro achieves the rank of Shodan, black belt. This book will be published mid 2024 and completes Rainbro's journey to black belt.
